DIRT ACCUMULATION ON REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATES

2010-2013 Taurus

The article supersedes TSB 11-11-20 to update the vehicle model years and the Part List.

ISSUE
Some 2010-2013 Taurus vehicles may exhibit road dust accumulation on the rear door scuff plate area.

ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Paint the replacement body quarter trim panel from the Dust Kit to match the vehicle exterior color.

2. Install the Dust Kit parts. Refer to instruction sheet included in the kit.
