Rear Subframe - AWD







Removal

NOTICE: Suspension fasteners are critical parts that affect the performance of vital components and systems. Failure of these fasteners may result in major service expense. Use the same or equivalent parts if replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute design. Tighten fasteners as specified.

1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

2. On both sides.
Refer to: Rear Halfshaft.

3. On both sides.
Refer to: Toe Link.

4. On both sides.
Refer to: Spring.

5. Refer to: Muffler and Tailpipe.
6. Refer to: Rear Stabilizer Bar.

10. NOTE: Do not remove driveshaft from the pinion flange by pulling on the driveshaft tube. Damage to the CV-joint can result.

13. Position powertrain lift.

General Equipment: Wooden Block

Installation

1. Special Tool(s): 300-OTC1585AE (Powertrain Lift)
General Equipment: Wooden Block







2. On both sides.
Special Tool(s): 502-002 (Alignment Pins, Subframe)







3. Torque:
1 175 Nm
2 55 Nm







4. Torque: 175 Nm

7. NOTE: Align the reference mark made during removal.

13. On both sides. Refer to: Spring.
