Rear Bumper Cover - 5-Door

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).

2. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).

3. Position aside the rear wheel splash shield.
Torque: 2 Nm







4. Torque: 2 Nm







5. If equipped.







6. Remove the rear lamp assemblies.
Refer to: Rear Lamp Assembly - 5-Door (417-01 Exterior Lighting, Removal and Installation).

7. Torque: 3 Nm







Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
