Brake Disc





Removal

1. Remove the wheel and tire.

2. NOTICE: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang from the brake flexible hose or damage to the hose may occur.

Remove and discard the 2 anchor plate bolts and position the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly aside.
- Support the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly using mechanic's wire.


3. Remove and discard the brake disc screw.

4. Thread a M10 bolt into the brake disc removal hole and tighten to press the disc off the hub.

Installation

1. Using specified brake parts cleaner, clean any residual sealant from the wheel knuckle and the brake caliper anchor plate.

2. Use specified brake parts cleaner to clean the brake disc and hub mating surfaces.

3. Apply a thin coat of anti-seize lubricant to the hub flange.

4. Install the brake disc.

5. Install a new brake disc screw.
- Tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).


6. Position the brake caliper and brake caliper anchor plate assembly and install 2 new bolts.
- Tighten to 150 Nm (111 lb-ft).


7. Install the wheel and tire.
