Refer to Wiring Diagram Set 29 for schematic and connector information Electrical Diagrams.
Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The BJB (Battery Junction Box) provides battery and ignition voltage to the TCM (Transmission Control Module). If the system voltage is too low, too high or out of range during the self-test, the following DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) may set.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
Pinpoint Test
1. Read and record all DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes).
1. Run the self-test and retrieve the continuous memory DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) from all modules.
2. Check for DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) U0101 set in other modules.
Was DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) U0101 set in the ABS (Anti-Lock Brake System) or IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) module(s)?
2. Check for system voltage DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)
Are system voltage DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) set?
3. Check the BJB (Battery Junction Box) fuse
1. NOTE: BJB (Battery Junction Box) fuse F15 (25A) is Hot at all Times.
Remove the BJB (Battery Junction Box) fuse F15 (25A).
2. Check the BJB (Battery Junction Box) fuse F15 (25A)
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
4. Check the TCM (Transmission Control Module) power input circuits for low voltage
1. Disconnect TCM (Transmission Control Module) C1750A.
2. Measure the voltage between TCM (Transmission Control Module) C1750A, circuit CBB01 (WH-BU) harness side and ground.
Is voltage greater than 10.5 volts?
