Fuel Pump Control Module
WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, REFER to Safety Warnings . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.
Exploded View
Removal
1. Position both front seats all of the way forward.
2. Raise the rear seat cushions and fold forward.
3. Remove the RH (Right Hand) rear scuff plate. REFER to Scuff Plate Trim Panel - Rear .
4. Remove the RH (Right Hand) Outboard safety belt lower anchor bolt.
5. Disconnect the FP (Fuel Pump) control module electrical connector.
6. NOTE: The FP (Fuel Pump) control module is held in place with an adhesive backing.
Remove the FP (Fuel Pump) control module.
Installation
1. NOTE: Clean the FP (Fuel Pump) control module mounting surface.
Install the FP (Fuel Pump) control module.
1. Peel off the adhesive backing strip from the FP (Fuel Pump) control module.
2. Locate the FP (Fuel Pump) control module over the 2 studs (for location purposes only) and press down firmly.
2. Connect the FP (Fuel Pump) control module electrical connector.
3. Install the RH (Right Hand) Outboard safety belt lower anchor bolt.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
4. Install the RH (Right Hand) rear scuff plate. REFER to Scuff Plate Trim Panel - Rear .
5. Position back the rear seat cushions.
6. Position both front seats back to there original positions.
