ISSUE
Some 2012 Focus vehicles equipped with a 2.0L Duratec engine and built on or before 3/5/2012 may experience an FM radio station change when cycling through other audio modes such as satellite radio or compact disc (CD). The original FM radio station will change to an unselected station when returning back to the FM mode.
ACTION
Program the Audio Control Module (ACM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 81.03 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2012.9 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
WARRANTY STATUS: Eligible Under Provisions Of New Vehicle Limited Warranty Coverage Warranty/ESP coverage limits/policies/prior approvals are not altered by a TSB. Warranty/ESP coverage limits are determined by the identified causal part and verified using the OASIS part coverage tool.
