Wheel Bearing and Wheel Hub

Removal
NOTICE: Suspension fasteners are critical parts that affect the performance of vital components and systems. Failure of these fasteners may result in major service expense. Use the same or equivalent parts if replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute design. Tighten fasteners as specified.
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
1. Vehicles equipped with rear drum brakes, remove the brake drum. REFER to Brake Drum .
2. Vehicles equipped with rear disc brakes, remove the brake disc. REFER to Brake Disc .
3. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
4. NOTE: Vehicle equipped with rear drum brakes shown, rear disc brake equipped vehicle similar.
Remove the 4 wheel bearing and wheel hub assembly bolts, and remove the wheel bearing and wheel hub assembly.
1. Support the backing plate.
- To install, tighten the 4 wheel bearing and wheel hub assembly bolts in the sequence shown.
- Tighten to 110 Nm (81 lb-ft).
Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
