Diagnostic Overview

The Turn Signal On Warning Chime Is Inoperative

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

REFER to Turn Signal On Chime Tone .

Pinpoint Test

1. CHECK THE SAFETY BELT WARNING CHIME OPERATION

1. Ignition OFF.

2. Ignition ON.

3. Monitor the safety belt warning chime when the ignition switch is transitioned from OFF to RUN for 6 seconds.

Does the safety belt warning chime operate for approximately 6 seconds?







2. CHECK THE TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR OPERATION

1. Place the turn signal in the LH (Left Hand) or RH (Right Hand) turn position and monitor the turn indicator operation.

Do the turn indicators operate correctly?







3. RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) FROM THE IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) SELF-TEST

1. Using a scan tool, perform the IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) self-test.

Are any DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) recorded?
