Brake Pedal and Bracket

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation instructions.

1. Remove the accelerator pedal. REFER to Accelerator Pedal .

2. Remove the stoplamp switch. REFER to Stoplamp Switch .

3. Remove the brake pedal and bracket.

1. Remove and discard the brake booster rod clevis-locking pin.

2. Remove the 5 brake pedal and bracket nuts and the brake pedal and bracket bolt.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

3. Remove the brake pedal and bracket.






Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
