Removal

1. Remove the seat. REFER to Seat .

2. If equipped with adjustable manual lumbar.





3. Vehicle with heated seat shown, all others similar.





4. All vehicles.

6. Vehicles with cloth seats.





7. NOTICE: Use care when separating the seat backrest cover from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip may be torn from the seat backrest foam pad.

12. NOTE: It is acceptable for a thin layer of foam to peel away with the old heater mat. The new heater mat will adhere to the foam pad, but if foam tearing occurs or if any pieces of foam are removed, install a new foam pad.






Installation

1. NOTE: Install the heater mat straight onto the foam pad, without any wrinkles that may show through the cover after installation.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
