C-Pillar Trim Panel - Middle, 4-Door Sedan

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the D-pillar trim panel. REFER to D-Pillar Trim Panel - 4-Door Sedan. D-Pillar Trim Panel - 4-Door Sedan

2. Remove the upper C-pillar trim panel. REFER to C-Pillar Trim Panel - Upper. C-Pillar Trim Panel - Upper

3. Remove the middle C-pillar trim panel.

1. Position aside the rear door weatherstrip from around the middle C-pillar trim panel.

2. Position the rear seat backrest back in the up position.

3. For vehicles equipped with a full bench rear seat cushion, remove the rear seat cushion. REFER to Seat Cushion - Full Bench .

4. For vehicles equipped with 60/40 rear seat, position the rear seat cushion in the full forward position to gain access to the rear seat outboard safety belt anchor bolt.

5. Remove the rear outboard safety belt anchor bolt.
- To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

6. For vehicles equipped with a 60/40 rear seat, position the rear seat cushion back in the normal position.

7. Position the seat backrest in the full flat position.

8. Remove the middle C-pillar pin-type retainer.

9. Release the middle C-pillar trim panel clips and remove the middle C-pillar trim panel.






Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
