Removal
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
1. Remove the LH (Left Hand) and RH (Right Hand) A-pillar trim. REFER to A-Pillar Trim Panel .

8. Remove the front floor console. REFER to Console - Front, Floor .
9. Depending on vehicle option content, remove the FCDIM (Front Control/Display Interface Module) or the FDIM (Front Display Interface Module). REFER to Front Control Display Interface Module (FCDIM) or REFER to Front Display Interface Module (FDIM) .

17. Vehicles without IA (Intelligent Access).

20. Remove and discard the steering column shaft-to-steering gear bolt and disconnect the steering column shaft from the steering gear.
- 28 Nm (21 lb-ft)
21. Remove and discard the 4 steering column bolts and remove the steering column.
- 28 Nm (21 lb-ft)

- 1 Nm (9 lb-in)

28. NOTICE: To avoid damaging the upper section, the aid of an assistant is required to carry out this step.
NOTICE: Make sure that all electrical connectors and wiring are not hindered before removing the upper section or damage to the components may occur.
NOTE: Install all the bolts finger tight before final tightening.
Remove the instrument panel upper section.

Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
