In-Vehicle Crossbeam

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the cowl grille panel. REFER to Cowl Panel Grille .

- 25 Nm (18 lb-ft)





4. Remove the instrument panel upper section. REFER to Instrument Panel Upper Section .

5. Remove both front doors. REFER to Door - Front .

6. On both sides.
- 40 Nm (30 lb-ft)

13. NOTICE: To avoid damaging the in-vehicle cross beam, an assistant is required when carrying out the following steps.

NOTICE: Remove the bolts from one side completely and support the in-vehicle cross beam before removing the bolts from the opposite side

NOTICE: Make sure that all electrical connectors and wiring are not hindered before removing the in-vehicle cross beam or damage to the components may occur.

Remove the in-vehicle cross beam from the vehicle.
- 25 Nm (18 lb-ft)





Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
