Radiator Grille Support




Radiator Grille Support

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, REFER to Safety Warnings . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

Exploded View










Removal

1. Remove the front bumper cover. REFER to Bumper Cover - Front .

2. Remove the front fender bolts.

Both Sides





3. Remove the washer reservoir filler and position aside the hoses and wiring.





4. Position aside the primary hood release cable.





5. WARNING: Turn the ignition OFF and wait one minute to deplete the backup power supply. Ignition must remain OFF until repair is complete. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury or death in the event of an accidental deployment.

Disconnect the LH (Left Hand) front impact severity sensor electrical connector. REFER to Front Impact Severity Sensor .





6. WARNING: Turn the ignition OFF and wait one minute to deplete the backup power supply. Ignition must remain OFF until repair is complete. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury or death in the event of an accidental deployment.

Disconnect the RH (Right Hand) front impact severity sensor electrical connector. REFER to Front Impact Severity Sensor .





7. Remove the air cleaner. REFER to Intake Air System Components - Exploded View .

8. Remove the washer reservoir. REFER to Washer Pump and Reservoir .

9. Manually support the hood.

10. Loosen as far as possible but do not remove the upper support bolts.





11. Remove the lower support bolts and adjusters.





12. Remove the upper support bolts and the radiator grille support.





Installation

1. Position the radiator grille support on the vehicle and loosely install the upper support bolts.





2. Loosely install the radiator grille support adjusters and lower support bolts.





3. Install the air cleaner assembly. REFER to Intake Air System Components - Exploded View .

4. Install the washer reservoir. REFER to Washer Pump and Reservoir .

5. Install the washer reservoir filler and the hoses and wiring.





6. Tighten the upper and lower support bolts.
- 23 Nm (17 lb-ft)

7. Support the hood by the prop rod.

8. Connect the RH (Right Hand) front impact severity sensor electrical connector.





9. Connect the LH (Left Hand) front impact severity sensor electrical connector.





10. Install the hood release cable.





11. Install the front fender bolts.
- 6 Nm (53 lb-in)

12. Install the front bumper cover. REFER to Bumper Cover - Front .
