Luggage Compartment Lid

Sedan Luggage Compartment Lid










Removal

1. Remove the pushpin retainers and the luggage compartment lid insulator.





2. Position aside the RH (Right Hand) luggage compartment trim panel and disconnect the luggage compartment lid wiring harness and retainers.





3. Remove the electrical harness pushpin retainers on the luggage compartment lid hinge.





4. NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.
Remove the luggage compartment-to-hinge nuts and remove the luggage compartment lid and wiring harness.





Installation

1. NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.
Install the luggage compartment lid and wiring harness and loosely install the luggage compartment-to-hinge nuts.





2. Install the electrical harness retainers on the luggage compartment lid hinge.





3. Connect the luggage compartment lid electrical connector and retainers in the RH (Right Hand) quarter panel.





4. Adjust the luggage compartment lid to specification. REFER to Luggage Compartment Lid Alignment .

5. Tighten the luggage compartment-to-hinge nuts.
- 30 Nm (22 lb-ft)

6. Install the luggage compartment lid insulator and pushpin retainers.
