Luggage Compartment Lid Alignment

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, REFER to Safety Warnings . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

General Procedure

1. Remove the luggage compartment scuff plate. REFER to Scuff Plate Trim Panel - 4-Door Sedan, Luggage Compartment .

2. Remove the luggage compartment striker bolts and striker.

3. Remove the pushpin retainers and the luggage compartment lid insulator.





4. Loosen the 4 luggage compartment hinge-to-luggage compartment lid nuts until the lid is able to move slightly.





5. Align the luggage compartment lid to the body. REFER to Body Dimensions .

6. Install the 4 luggage compartment hinge-to-luggage compartment lid nuts.
- 30 Nm (22 lb-ft)





7. Install the luggage compartment lid insulator and pushpin retainers.





8. Install and align the luggage compartment striker and bolts.

9. Install the luggage compartment scuff plate. REFER to Scuff Plate Trim Panel - 4-Door Sedan, Luggage Compartment .
