Rear Door: Service and Repair

Removal

NOTE: The removal steps in this procedure may include installation details.

NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.

1. Remove the door check bolt from the B-pillar and position aside the door check.
- 22 Nm (16 lb-ft)





2. Support the door.

3. Remove the lower door hinge pivot bolt.
- 30 Nm (22 lb-ft)





4. Remove the upper door hinge pivot bolt.
- 30 Nm (22 lb-ft)





5. Position the door slightly away from the vehicle.

6. Position aside the wiring harness boot and disconnect the door wiring harness electrical connector.





7. Remove the door.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. If necessary, align the door to specification. REFER to Door Alignment - Rear .
