Front Door: Service and Repair

Removal

NOTE: The removal steps in this procedure may include installation details.

NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.

1. Remove the door check bolt from the A-pillar and position aside the door check.
- 22 Nm (16 lb-ft)





2. Position aside the wiring harness boot and disconnect the door wiring harness electrical connector.





3. Support the door.

4. Remove the lower door hinge pivot bolt.
- 30 Nm (22 lb-ft)





5. Remove the upper door hinge pivot bolt.
- 30 Nm (22 lb-ft)





6. Remove the door.

Installation

NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. If necessary, align the door to specification. REFER to Door Alignment - Front .
