Overview

The power lock/unlock feature locks or unlocks the doors upon a customer request from either the door lock control switch in the vehicle or a RKE (Remote Keyless Entry) transmitter. The doors can also be locked by using a backup mechanical key in the driver door lock cylinder. The power door locking system functions independently of ignition status or vehicle speed.

The IA (Intelligent Access) feature locks or unlocks the doors or releases the liftgate or luggage compartment lid when commanded.
