Removal
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE: The antenna cables are part of the vehicle wiring harness. Because the cables cannot be removed from the harness, this procedure applies to the replacement of the cables only.
1. NOTE: Steps 1 thru 16 apply for access to the lower antenna cable only.
Vehicles with manual transmission.

- 2 Nm (18 lb-in)
9. Closed Bin front floor console.

13. NOTE: Sony(R) sound shown, premium and base audio similar.
Disconnect antenna connector(s).

- 1 Nm (9 lb-in)
15. Remove the ACM (Audio Control Module). REFER to Audio Control Module (ACM) Base audio or REFER to Audio Control Module (ACM) Premium audio or REFER to Audio Control Module (ACM) Sony(R) sound

17. NOTE: Steps 17 thru 22 apply for access to the upper antenna cable only.
Remove the headliner. REFER to Headliner - 4-Door Sedan or REFER to Headliner - 5-Door Hatchback .
18. Remove lower B-pillar trim panel.
19. For 5 -door only:
1. Remove passenger front seat. REFER to Seat .
2. Remove the gearshift lever. REFER to Selector Lever or REFER to Gearshift Lever .
3. Remove the parking brake control. REFER to Parking Brake Control .

Installation
NOTE: The antenna cables are part of the vehicle wiring harness. Because the cables cannot be removed from the harness, this procedure applies to the replacement of the cables only.
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Overlay the new antenna cable on the vehicle wiring harness, following the routing of the original cable. REFER to Exploded View for cable routing.
