Oil Pump Screen and Pickup Tube

Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Remove the engine oil pan. For additional information, refer to Oil Pan Oil Pan.

3. Remove the 3 bolts and the oil pump screen and pickup tube.
- Inspect and replace the O-ring seal, if necessary.

- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).






4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
