CD AUDIO SKIPPING WITH MP3 CD-BUILT ON OR BEFORE 1/24/2012

ISSUE
Some 2011-2012 Fiesta vehicles built on or before
1/24/2012 may exhibit audio skipping when an MP3
CD is played in CD player.
ACTION
Reprogram the audio control module (ACM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 77A.05 or higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2012.1A DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
WARRANTY STATUS: Eligible Under Provisions Of New Vehicle Limited Warranty Coverage Warranty/ESP coverage limits/policies/prior approvals are not altered by a TSB. Warranty/ESP coverage limits are determined by the identified causal part and verified using the OASIS part coverage tool.
