Power Steering Fluid Reservoir













Removal and Installation

NOTICE: When repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of foreign material or failure of the power steering components may occur.

NOTICE: Do not allow power steering fluid to contact the engine accessory drive belt or failure of the belt may occur.

1. Using a suitable suction device, drain the power steering fluid reservoir.

2. Carefully push the lock tab on the degas bottle away from the power steering fluid reservoir. To release the reservoir, grasp the top of the power steering fluid reservoir and carefully slide it upwards in the mounting guides to access the hoses.
- Release the clamp and disconnect the power steering fluid cooler-to-reservoir hose from the reservoir.

- Release the clamp and disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir-to-pump supply hose from the reservoir.





3. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
