Removal and Installation

NOTE: The cruise control switch is unique to the adaptive cruise control system. When installing a new cruise control switch, make sure the correct switch for adaptive cruise control is installed.

1. Remove the driver air bag module. For additional information, refer to Restraint Systems.

2. Disconnect the cruise control switch electrical connector.

3. Remove the steering wheel bezel box.

1. Remove the 4 screws.

2. Release the top 2 tabs.

3. Release the bottom 2 tabs.





4. NOTICE: Lightly hand-tighten the screws. Do not use power tools. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the bezel and/or the cruise control switch.

Remove the 4 screws and separate the steering wheel switch bezel from the steering wheel bezel box.

5. Remove the 2 screws and the cruise control switch.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Makes sure the bezels are aligned correctly with the steering wheel.
