Removal and Installation

4.0L vehicles

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Vehicle Jacking and Lifting.

2. Remove the 9 screws and the lower air deflector.





3. Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connector.

4. Remove the 3 screws and the fog lamp.

4.6L vehicles

5. Remove the front bumper cover. For additional information, refer to Bumper.

6. Remove the 3 screws and the fog lamp.

5.4L vehicles

7. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Vehicle Jacking and Lifting.

8. Remove the 9 screws and the lower air deflector.





9. NOTE: Use a 13 mm (0.5 in) diameter tool to collapse the tabs.

Release the tabs and remove the fog lamp.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.

All vehicles

10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
