Bumper Cover - Front

Removal and Installation

Base vehicle and GT

1. Remove the 4 radiator grille assembly-to-upper sight shield pin-type retainers.

2. Remove the 4 upper radiator sight shield pin-type retainers and the upper radiator sight shield.

Shelby GT 500

3. Remove the 8 upper radiator sight shield pin-type retainers and the upper radiator sight shield.

4. Remove the 6 front fender splash shield screws.

5. Remove the front bumper cover-to-grille opening reinforcement bolts.

Base vehicle and GT

6. Remove the 4 fender splash shield screws.

7. If equipped, remove the 4 lower air deflector bolts.

8. Remove the lower air deflector pin-type retainers and remove the lower air deflector.

Shelby GT 500

9. Remove the 4 front bumper cover lower valence-to-lower air deflector screws.

All vehicles

10. If equipped, disconnect the 2 fog lamp electrical connectors.

11. Disconnect the 2 side marker lamp electrical connectors and remove the front bumper cover.

12. Disconnect the ambient air temperature sensor.

13. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
