Range Selection

Depending on the vehicle options selected, the transmission selector lever may have different range positions.

The standard transmission selector lever has 7 positions: P, R, N, D, 3, 2 and 1.

Drive - (D) Cancelled

The D position provides:

- activated by pressing the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) on the transmission selector knob.
- automatic shifts 1-4 and 4-1.
- apply and release of the TCC.
- maximum fuel economy during normal operation.
- engine braking in 4th gear.
- for cancelling (D) through TCS.
- illuminates the (D) OFF on the Instrument Cluster (IC).
