The Instrument Cluster (IC) is available either with a message center or without a message center (base cluster). The IC contains gauges, indicator lamps, and warning lamps that are designed to provide the driver with system status, and to alert the driver that certain conditions exist in the vehicle.

Gauges

Gauges provide information to the driver indicating the status of systems. Examples of the gauges include: vehicle speed, fuel level, Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT), and engine rpm.

Informational Indicators

Informational indicator lamps provide information to the driver of conditions that exist in the vehicle. The informational indicator lamps include the: turn signal, high beam, and speed control.

Warning Indicators

Warning indicator lamps provide information to the driver of conditions that could potentially alter vehicle performance. Examples of the warning indicators include the: ABS, BRAKE, and low oil pressure. The IC lens is the only part that may be installed separately.
