PINPOINT TEST D: A SINGLE ILLUMINATION SOURCE IS INOPERATIVE

D1-D2:

Normal Operation
A variable pulse width modulated (PWM) voltage is supplied to the dimmable illumination components and switches from the instrument panel dimmer switch on circuit 1045 (DB/WH). The dimmable illumination components and switches are grounded on circuit 57 (BK).

Possible Causes
- Circuit 57 (BK) open
- Circuit 1045 (DB/WH) open
- Message center switch
- Traction control switch
- Ashtray illumination
- Transmission range selector
