Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair

Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner

Removal and Installation





1. Using a suitable belt tensioner release tool, rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise and remove the accessory drive belt.
2. Remove the bolt and the accessory drive belt tensioner.
^ To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

3. NOTE: Refer to the illustration for correct accessory drive belt routing.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
