Removal and Installation
1. Drain the engine cooling system.
2. Remove the 3 thermostat housing bolts and position aside the thermostat housing.
^ Remove the thermostat housing O-ring seal and inspect the sealing surfaces.
^ To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs).
3. Remove the thermostat.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
5. Fill and bleed the cooling system.
