Normal Operation
Operation of the remote luggage compartment lid release is accomplished by the smart junction box (SJB) receiving a command message from the remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitter through the RKE/SJB external antenna. The SJB processes the command and sends a signal directly to the luggage compartment lid release solenoid.
