Normal Operation
The message center functionality is controlled through the message center switches, which are hardwired to the instrument cluster through circuit 465 (WH/LB) and circuit 231 (BK/YE).

Possible Causes
- Circuit 231 (BK/YE) open or short to ground
- Circuit 465 (WH/LB) open or short to ground
- Message center switch
- Instrument cluster
