Normal Operation
The exterior mirror control switch is supplied voltage from the smart junction box (SJB) through circuit 956 (OG/LG) and grounds through circuit 1205 (BK). The exterior mirror control switch activates the LH exterior mirror by switching voltage and ground to circuits 541 (DB), 540 (RD) and 542 (YE). The switch activates the RH exterior mirror by switching voltage and ground to circuits 544 (VT), 543 (DG) and 542 (YE). The exterior mirror control switch must be in the appropriate (left or right) position for the desired mirror to operate.

Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Circuit 542 (YE) open, short to voltage or short to ground
- Circuit 956 (OG/LG) open or short to ground
- Circuit 1205 (BK) open
- Exterior mirror control switch
