Normal Operation
Under normal operation, constant power is supplied to the starter relay on circuit 1050 (LG/VT). Battery voltage is supplied to the ignition switch through circuit 1050 (LG/VT). When the key is placed in the START position, with the vehicle in PARK or NEUTRAL, voltage is supplied to SJB fuse 21 (15A) through circuit 32 (RD/LB). From SJB fuse 21 (15A) voltage is supplied to the TR sensor through circuit 262 (BN/PK). The TR sensor then provides power to the starter relay coil on circuit 1093 (TN/RD). The PCM provides ground to the starter relay coil on circuit 329 (PK). When the coil of the relay is energized, it sends power to the starter motor on circuit 33 (WH/PK).

Possible Causes
- Anti-theft system
- Battery
- Open fuse
- Starter motor
- Open in circuits 1050 (LG/VT), 329 (PK), 33 (WH/PK), 262 (BN/PK), 1093 (TN/RD) or 32 (RD/LB)
- Starter motor relay
- Powertrain control module (PCM)
- Digital transmission range (TR) sensor
- Ignition switch
