Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
3. Remove the 2 pin-type retainers and the accelerator cable snow shield.
4. Disconnect the accelerator cable, speed control cable and throttle return spring from the throttle body (TB).
5. Remove the 2 bolts and position the accelerator/speed control cable bracket aside.
- To install, tighten to 17 Nm (13 lb-ft).

6. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector.
- Detach the wiring retainer from the TB stud bolt.

7. Remove the 3 bolts, the stud bolt and the TB.
- Remove and discard the TB gasket.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

8. NOTE: Clean all TB sealing surfaces and install a new TB gasket.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
