Normal Operation
During the battery saver function, the smart junction box (SJB) provides a ground for the battery saver relay when the ignition switch is in the OFF position. The battery saver relay provides power to circuit 705 (LG/OG) for a predetermined time after the ignition switch has been cycled from the ON position to the OFF position. Once the predetermined time-out has elapsed, the SJB will deactivate the battery saver relay and remove power from circuit 705 (LG/OG).
Possible Causes
- Circuit 705 (LG/OG) open
- Circuit 1052 (TN/BK) open
- SJB
