Removal and Installation
Both engine support insulators
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and the engine roll restrictor.
^ To install tighten to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
LH engine support insulator
3. Install the special tool to the LH cylinder head.
4. Using the special tools, support the LH side of the engine.
5. Remove the 3 bolts, the 9 screws and the front splash shield.
6. Remove the LH engine support insulator-to-subframe nut.
^ To install, tighten to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.).
7. Remove the A/C compressor bolt and position the wiring retainer bracket aside.
8. Using the special tools, raise the RH side of the engine.
9. Remove the 2 bolts and the LH engine support insulator.
^ To install, tighten to 62 Nm (46 ft. lbs.).

10. Remove the 2 nuts, the bolt and position the ground wire and catalytic converter heat shield aside.
^ To install, tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
11. Install the special tool to the RH cylinder head.
12. Using the special tools, support the RH side of the engine.
13. Remove the engine support insulator-to-subframe nut.
^ To install, tighten to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.).
14. Remove the engine support insulator shield nut.
^ To install, tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
15. Remove the through bolt and RH engine support insulator.
^ To install, tighten to 120 Nm (89 ft. lbs.).
Both engine support insulators
16. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
