Rear Seat Backrest - 60/40 Split Backrest

REAR SEAT BACKREST - 60/40 SPLIT BACKREST







Removal and Installation
1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the nut and position aside the safety belt and buckle assembly anchor.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

3. Release both rear seat backrest latches and position the backrests downward to access the backrest mounting frame retaining bolts.
4. Push up at the split and remove the backrest safety belt guide.
5. Remove the 4 backrest mounting frame bolts.
- To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

6. Lift up and remove the backrest assembly while feeding the safety belt and buckle assembly through the backrest mounting frame.

7. NOTE: Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.
