Front Fender: Service and Repair

FENDER

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the cowl grille.
2. Remove the front bumper cover.
3. Remove the fender splash shield.







4. Remove the cowl grille extension bolt.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).







5. CAUTION: Support the hood with a suitable support to prevent it from damaging the windshield or fender.

Remove the 2 hood hinge-to-body bolts and position the hood hinge aside.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

6. Remove the 2 pin-type retainers and position the rocker panel moulding aside.
7. Remove the inner fender bolt.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

8. Remove the front fender bolt.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

9. Through the front door opening, remove the rear fender bolt.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

10. Remove the 4 upper fender bolts and the fender.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
