Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.







2. Disconnect the fuel filler overflow tube.
3. Remove the 6 rear bumper cover pin-type retainers.
4. Remove the 4 screws and position the LH and RH splash shields aside to access the rear bumper cover-to-body nuts.
5. Remove the 2 rear bumper cover-to-body nuts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in)

6. Remove the 5 rear bumper cover pin-type retainers.
7. Remove the 2 nuts, 3 pin-type retainers, and the scuff plate.
- Position the LH and RH luggage compartment trim panel aside.

8. Remove the 6 rear bumper cover-to-nuts and the rear bumper cover.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
