Normal Operation
The remote compact disc (CD) changer sends audio information to the rear control unit (RCU) (also referred to as the audio unit) through circuits 798 (LG/RD) and 856 (VT) for the left channel and circuits 690 (GY) and 799 (OG/BK) for the right channel. The wake-up signal is sent to the CD changer from the RCU over circuit 372 (BN/OG).
Possible Causes
- CD changer
- Circuit 798 (LG/RD) open, short to ground, shield or voltage
- Circuit 690 (GY) open, short to ground, shield or voltage
- Circuit 856 (VT) open, short to ground, shield or voltage
- Circuit 799 (OG/BK) open, short to ground, shield or voltage
