Normal Operation
When a cassette is inserted into the integrated control panel (ICP), the unit automatically switches to the cassette player button functionality and cassette playback begins. The cassette audio signals are sent to the rear control unit (RCU) (also referred to as the audio unit) through circuits 503 (BN/LG), 504 (WH/PK), 593 (DB/WH) and 594 (GY).
Possible Causes
- RCU
- Circuit 503 (BN/LG) open, short to voltage
- Circuit 504 (WH/PK) open, short to voltage
- Circuit 593 (DB/WH) open, short to voltage
- Circuit 594 (GY) open, short to ground or shield
- ICP
