Power Steering Pump Pulley

Special Tool(s):

Removal
1. Rotate the tensioner counterclockwise and remove the accessory drive belt from the power steering pump pulley.
2. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Vehicle/Application and ID
3. Using the special tool, remove the pulley.





Installation
1. Using the special tool, install the pulley.
^ Inspect the pulley for paint marks in the web area near the hub. If there are 2 paint marks, install a new pulley. If there is no paint or 1 paint mark, use a paint pencil to mark the web area of the pulley near the hub.





2. Rotate the tensioner counterclockwise and install the accessory drive belt to the power steering pump pulley.
