DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCs)

While the LFCs are an indication of a general concern in the passive restraints system, the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are more specific. The DTCs can be retrieved from the RCM with a diagnostic tool via the DLC.
