Test O: The Parking, Rear Or License Plate Lamps Are On Continuously
PINPOINT TEST O: THE PARKING, REAR OR LICENSE PLATE LAMPS ARE ON CONTINUOUSLYO1-O5:
Normal Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) sends a voltage reference signal to the headlamp switch through circuit 1401 (BK/LG). When the headlamp switch is placed in the PARKING LAMPS ON position, the SJB provides voltage to the parking, license plate and side marker lamps.
Possible Causes
- Circuit 14 (BN) short to voltage
- Circuit 667 (WH/RD) short to voltage
- Circuit 1339 (BK/PK) short to voltage
- Circuit 1340 (DG) short to voltage
- Circuit 1361 (RD/PK) short to voltage
- Circuit 1366 (TN/RD) short to voltage
- Circuit 1364 (DB/YE) short to voltage
- Circuit 1370 (DG/LG) short to voltage
- Circuit 1401 (BK/LG) short to ground
- Circuit 1729 (DB/YE) short to voltage
- Circuit 1784 (TN/RD) short to voltage
