Flexible Fuel Sensor: Description and Operation

The flexible fuel sensor:
- measures the percentage of fuel methanol or fuel ethanol in the fuel mixture.
- sends a variable signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) through the wiring harness.

The powertrain control module adjusts outputs to the engine to provide optimum driveability based on the signal received.
