Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Disconnect the speed control servo electrical connector.







3. Compress the (A) cable housing retainer and rotate the (B) cable housing.







4. Slide the (A) cable end from the (B) servo cable actuator groove.







5. Remove the speed control servo assembly.
1. Remove the bolts.
2. Remove the speed control servo.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
