Cruise Control Servo Cable: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the speed control cable from the throttle control lever.
1 Disconnect the speed control actuator cable from the throttle control lever.
2 Disengage the speed control actuator cable sleeve from the retainer.
3 Remove the retainer.
3. Remove the cable retaining clips.
4. Compress the (A) cable housing retainer and rotate the (B) cable housing.
5. Slide the (A) cable end from the (B) servo cable actuator groove and remove the speed control actuator cable.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure
NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
